The Pokémon France retail team wanted to support the launch of a new limited edition Charizard Trading Card Game product across leading retailers in the build up to Christmas.
In response, we developed an engaging Charizard themed in-store promotion which ran for 9-weeks from October to early December. Customers had the chance to enter weekly prize draws, where we gave away hundreds of Trading Card Games. All valid entries were entered into a grand prize draw, with 1 winner randomly selected per participating retailer at the end of the promotion period to win a money can’t buy Charizard prize bundle.
Promoted in-store via POS and online via digital assets and social posts, the promotion was a huge success and won bronze in the in-store campaign category at the POPAI awards 2025.
