When restauranteur Hakan Ilhan, owner of some of Washington DC's most iconic dining destinations, approached Once Upon a Time Hospitality to name and create the brand for his newest French restaurant in Georgetown, we dug in and leveraged our vast experience in creating unique and meaningful restaurant concepts. Understanding the complexities of the restaurant scene in DC helped us to create Brasserie Liberté, a revolutionary concept in French dining that aims high in appealing to the luxury set as well as Georgetown students and service industry. We named the restaurant, created the brand story and narrative, and hand-crafted the brand identity to convey a classically cool look that juxtaposes against the modern and unconventional interior spaces. Menu design is an art unto itself and we worked closely with the team in perfecting the look in order to best convey signature dishes and instant classics. Rounding out our initial brand development, we designed and built the venue's web presence which runs on our bespoke content management platform for ease-of-updates.
