Hersha Hospitality approached Once Upon a Time Hospitality to rebrand an oceanside resort in Santa Barbara. We dug in, did our homework, and crafted a brand thats rooted in Santa Barbara heritage, yet eclectic enough to appeal to their target demographic of urban explorer. The location of the hotel served as our inspiration, starting with the name – Hotel Milo – paying homage to an historic Santa Barbara visionary, while also allowing us to tip our hat to the present and future growth of the city, including the neighboring Funk Zone.
In addition to the new name, we were responsible for the logo, collateral, and establishing the hotel’s mood and vibe. Hotel Milo is youthful and energetic, a place guests could consider their Santa Barbara guest house.
